Lala Kedarnath, the eldest and only brother of 4 sisters, runs a chaat shop that was started by his father. Lala promises his frail mother on her deathbed that he will get married only after he fulfills the responsibility of marrying his sisters into suitable homes first. What follows is Lala's relentless efforts of getting his sisters married while upholding his family values. At the same time, Lala also faces hiccups on the personal front, his romantic life with his childhood love Sapna. However, Lala's commitment to his sisters stands as a huge roadblock for his and Sapna's love story to take off. Understanding the importance of Lala's vow, Sapna decides to wait till his goal is achieved. Some time later Gayatri get married but the things didn't go as planned when Gayatri Suicides by taking poison. Actually her in laws were asking for more Dowry, She didn't say anything to Lala as he didn't wanted him to stress. Lala realizes that marriage isn't everything so he vows that his other 3 sisters will study hard for their future and Lala breaks all ties with Sapna, on Sapna's marriage she realizes that she is in lovewith Lala and can't marry any other person. So she was unmarried till then.
Laxmi and her lover Swapnil got married, Durga graduates and becomes a lawyer. Later Durga also get married with her lover. Saraswati becomes a police and get married to her lover too. Some time later Lala and Sapna get married at the age of 60. He fulfills his mother's wish. Everyone get emotional and they live happily ever after.
